Kuala Lumpur, 23 December 2009 – MNRB Group once again has pledged its role and commitment towards the community in cheers and joy of Christmas spirit with children of Agathians Shelter in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The event, which took place at the Home itself saw the Group contributing cash donations and food hampers to the underprivileged children.

Agathians Shelter is a multi-racial and multi-religious orphanage for boys, which was founded in 2003 by a team of young adults. The Home currently houses 31 underprivileged boys from various backgrounds from the age of 3-17 years old.

MNRB Group had in the past, organized many charitable activities in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. With the personal involvement of its employees in such activities, the Group hoped it could further enhance the family spirit amongst all its employees and also inculcating caring society values among them. This participation will not just further enhance a good relationship between the corporate sectors and NGOs but also to help them realize their dreams and hopes in aid of reaching out to those in need.
